Star finch - breeding

The star finch are ready to start playback from the year of life, because at a younger age tend to abandon their eggs.
The nest box should be a semi-open but if there are shrubs can build your own nest, using hay and string. The female lays between 4-5 eggs that are incubated alternately with the male. Babies are born after 13 days.
A good pair can make 2 or 3 creations in year.
