The long-tailed finch is originally from Australia and has approximately 15 to 17 cm in length. Bird first described by ornithologist John Gould in 1840.
The star finch are ready to start playback from the year of life, because at a younger age tend to abandon their eggs. Babies are born after 13 days. A good pair can make 2 or 3 creations in year.
