Gouldian finch - breeding

Ave with some difficulty in creating, especially when their own diamonds gould to hatch the eggs, often abandoning their offspring at an early stage.
Most breeders use white-rumped munia for best results in the number of creations.
But offspring raised by their own parents are birds of better quality.
The nest is a 20x10x10 box and the best material for the birds use the straw is Coconut.
The female lays eggs between 4-8 and the incubation is 14 days.

Gouldian finch - temperament

The Gouldian finch are quiet birds that do well with any type of bird in the same family. This bird is easily accustomed to humans and may even become familiar with its owner if it treat it well.

Gouldian finch - feeding

These birds feed on a mixture exotic Australia. Mixture containing various types of birdseed, and millet. Should always have at their disposal sandstone  needs digestive. At the time of creation should be given a good egg-based pope and also germinated seeds are a good source of natural vitamins.
Later I'll teach do germinated seeds with ease.

Gouldian finch - temperature

When they were brought to Europe, these birds had a hard time getting used to because winter temperatures are very low.
Some breeders use artificial heating to obtain better results in the creation. Which should be taken into account when we want to get a bird, because we do it from a breeder who has the same environmental conditions as us.
These birds live well with temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees.

Gouldian finch - proper installations

The gouldian finch can live in a large cage outdoors since it has a covered shelter to sleep. It can also be kept in cages of creation, being better for the designer to select couples. These birds are very fond of sunshine.

Gouldian finch - social characteristics

These birds like to live together with birds of the same genus. In the wild live in large groups because males even in the height of creation do not fight with each other. Creating these birds together should always have more males than females so they can better choose your partner.
